Le CAP ATMFC subit une rénovation et voit son orientation professionnelle réajustée en fonction des besoins de la profession.
Dès la rentrée de septembre 2023, un nouveau CAP s’installera et s’intitulera CAP AAGA Agent Accompagnant au Grand Âge
Quels sont les grands changements :
le CAP AAGA s’inscrit dans une démarche de poursuite d’études CAP AAGA + MC-AD ou CAP AAGA + BCP ASSP de par le contenu de ces nouveaux référentiels et les attentes de la profession.
Il n’y a donc plus de cuisine en CAP AAGA, uniquement de la mise en place (réchauffage et dressage) et service des repas. Vous découvrirez également l’entretien du cadre vie et l’entretien du linge. Egalement vous découvrirez « la promotion de l’autonomie de la personne dans son espace privé ».
Les lieux de stage changent pour ce CAP AAGA et ce sera dans des EHPAD, résidences séniors ou hôpitaux ou entreprises de services correspondant aux activités professionnelles du diplôme.
Le CAP AAGA rejoint les métiers de l’aide à la personne et voit son champ d’activité diversifié.
